PICKENS, SC – Friday, 9/30/22 10:14 AM

It’s the game everyone in Pickens County waits for each year. The rivalry game between the Green Wave of Easley High School and their rivals: the Pickens High School Blue Flame.
This year, due to incoming inclement weather from Hurricane Ian, the game was moved from its normal Friday night timeslot to Thursday night. The Green Wave squad traveled down Highway 8 to Pickens to meet the Blue Flame on the road.
Both teams had winning records going into the game on Thursday night, but that would change before the night was over.
