EASLEY, SC — Easley High School football just announced the players of the week following Friday night’s loss to Greenwood.
Despite the tough loss, the Green Wave was still able to put up 41 points on the road against the Eagles.
Offensive Players of the Week
Senior Chris Clemons had 5 receptions and 141 yards receiving while scoring 2 of the Greenwave touchdowns.
Jackson Turner led the offensive line helping create opportunities to put up 41 points on the road.
Defensive Players of the Week
Senior Covarie Hammond had 8 total tackles (3 solo, 5 assists) against Greenwood’s offense.
Junior Carter Owen had 6 total tackles (3 solo, 3 assists) with 1 for a loss against Greenwood’s offense Friday night.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Sophomore Kyler Turner was named special teams player of the week.
