While the future of the historic Greenville-Pickens Speedway may be uncertain, one of its biggest and best-known seasonal attractions has already found a new home—right across the street. Local businessman and developer, Anthony Anders, is currently developing 70 acres at the interchange of highways 123 & 153, adjacent to Greenville-Pickens Speedway, and will host the Upstate Holiday Light Show on the property, this fall.

The new Light Show will now be off of 201 Kay Drive in Easley, about a half a mile away from the old location.

However, the light show won’t be the only draw for the Anders’ new development. The property will also feature a multi-use sports and entertainment complex. The exciting slate of amenities and attractions will be announced soon, as Anders brings his vision for the complex to life.

“After being involved with the Speedway for so long, I knew I needed to bring something unique to this area. There’s nothing like this anywhere in the Upstate. A place where the community can be active, listen to some great music, grab some food, and just enjoy being outside.” Anthony Anders, property developer and owner of Anders Inc.

Easley’s newest entertainment complex is set to open in the fall of 2023, just in time for the holidays and the Upstate Holiday Light Show.

Anthony Anders, owner of Anders, Inc., has been a staple of the Easley business community for 16+ years, from owning and operating the Busy Beaver Tree Company, Greenville Pickens Roundtrac LLC, The Upstate Holiday Lights Show, Anders Properties, Legacy Pines Golf Club, Legacy Park of Mauldin, Sliding Rock Water System, and the Rock at Jocassee.

The Upstate Holiday Light Show, founded in 2015, offers more than 32 million lights, a petting zoo, Santa’s Village, carnival rides, and more. And now, at its new home, the Upstate Holiday Light Show will be able to deliver the premier holiday experience for families across the upstate.
