Even people that live here in Easley don’t realize how many fun indoor places exist right here in town. These are places that are worth driving FROM Greenville to Easley for. We compiled a list you can keep handy next time someone asks, “what is there to do in Easley when it’s rainy outside?”

projectROCK Easley is the TALLEST new indoor rock climbing gym in AMERICA. That’s right, it was named the tallest new climbing gym in 2022. The gym has hand sculpted walls that mimic the textures and features of iconic outdoor climbing locations in America with some walls going up as high as 84 feet. It a whole rock climbing experience with something for everyone.

Meeple Merchants in Easley, SC

Meeple Merchants is Easley’s local board game store. They carry a variety of board and table top games, TCGs, accessories, and more. They have over 1000 square feet of table and play space including a private room available for rent. Check their website for activities, clubs, movie nights, classes, and more. There is a small coffee shop on site, and several cozy spaces to curl up with a good book. Ask the librarians about their Library of Things as well. It’s a limited selection of things like oversized outdoor games that can be rented out like books.

Bagwell gymnasium at the JB Owens Sports Complex is run by Easley’s parks and recreation department and features an indoor walking track, basketball courts, fitness, art, and dance classes for the family. When it’s nice out, there are sports fields outside, playgrounds, a disk golf course, and more. Definitely worth a visit.
