Ladson and Collins found guilty of murder

On December 14, 2018, two individuals entered B-Pam’s Food Mart in Easley, SC and attempted to rob the store clerk, Stacey Branham, at gunpoint. During the encounter, Branham was shot and tragically died on scene. The two suspects, Tychristian Ladson and Quinton Maurice Collins, were later identified, arrested, and charged with murder and attempted armed robbery.  

On February 24, 2023, following a four-day trial, the Honorable Judge Gravely received a guilty verdict from a jury of Pickens County citizens. The Jury found both Ladson and Collins guilty of murder and attempted armed robbery.  Tychristian Ladson was sentenced to life in prison plus 20 years. Quinton Maurice Collins was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
