New program in Pickens County to help find missing people

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office will host a public information meeting on Thursday, April 20th, at 6:30 P.M. for families interested in learning more about Project Lifesaver.

The meeting will be held at the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Advanced Training Center at 216 C. David Stone Road. Pickens, SC. 29671.

As previously stated, the primary mission of Project Lifesaver is to provide timely responses to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children with the propensity to wander due to a cognitive condition.
