What is early voting?

The early voting experience is very similar to voting at the polls at the precinct location on November 8th.

When you walk into the front entrance of the library, you will see the signs and the polling station directly to the right. You will need to show a valid photo ID and verify your address and voter registration status

There is a copy of a sample ballot outside the polling station if you need to familiarize yourself with the candidates, amendments, and ordinances that will be on the ballot.

Poll workers are available to walk you through the process, and help if you have any questions.

Reasons why you should consider voting early

You are working or out of town on the day of the election.

If you know you will be working on election day, casting the vote sometime in the 2-week period is much more convenient. If you work weekdays or are out of town often, make sure to schedule a time during the week or on Saturday.

You don’t have to get stuck going out in the weather.

Chances are, there will be a nice day at some point in the 2-week period that’s just right to get out and vote. Or, if you’re looking to avoid lines, coming in on a rainy day is a good strategy.

You can do it while you’re at the library for another event.

Easley’s Pickens County Library System- Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library has a ton of great events and activities in the next 2 weeks. This is a great way to kill 2 birds with one stone!

You’re not sure about where your precinct is.

If you’re not sure where your precinct location is, or just don’t want to find the information online, you can just vote at the Easley public library before 6:00 PM, November 5, 2022.

You can carpool with your friends from other Pickens County precincts.

Make a day of it! Meet your Pickens County friends for a meal in Easley, and carpool to the public library to vote together.

You have the peace of mind of having it done!

Eliminate the stress of any unknowns, and just get it done!

Let’s help Pickens County lead the state for voter turnout!

We’ll see you at the polls.
